Mugen has bumbsteer too. It doesn't have to be a bad thing.
It only takes a couple of shims toi get rid of it if you like. I just picked up a D8 kit and will start building on Sunday. Can't beat $340 really.
Looking at a finished car and also driving it I can say it looks really good. Feels nimble on the track. Fit and finish is good.

I just talked to my friend that has the D8 and yes it has bump steering which I would have thought they would have gotten away from.

Yep I been hearing about CVD going out quick. But like anything new there will be bugs to work out. So what do you think MX250?
All so problems with the hing pins popping out.

RE: HOT BODIES D8
Would that be the hinge pins at the hubs? They are only held in place with the head of a screw but putting a washer on the screw should fix it.

You can take a pick of quality race engines, the RB C6 and WS7 3 are awesome engines, the Go.21 7 port is a great low cost engine.I like the Go engines especially as they are a great bang for the buck...Its a lot down to personal choice more than recomendation, different members will give different opinions and tell you to get what they have mostly,i'd say go with a RB engine, they do a great selection and if your budget stretches to it the C6 is the one to get in my opinion.Good luck with the D8,they seem to be the buggy of the moment,i'll stick with my HBX VRX-2 Pro as i'm more of a basher than a racer nowadays......

RE: HOT BODIES D8
C6 is a bit over kill in a buggy. Have one in my truggy and its an animal. Other RB engines which are slightly more forgiving and better suited in my opinion for a buggy would be the likes of the s7 or the ws7. Others to look at would be the os v-specs including the speed. Novarossi also make some lovely engines. I buy mine from apex models but check out other places such as Bolton Model Mart, MK Racing, Ben Racing. Any questions just ask.

I found this on the European site and has pictures of Atsushi Hara's car. Is it basically stock and if something is not what?
