Good poll buddy, I had the same problem deciding as you did between those 2. I ended up finding the RC 8 kit version with engine bump box and ready to roll only used one time from a employee at the hobby shop for 650$ and am very glad I went with the RC8 as I tried a friends 8eight and liked the way the RC8 handled in and out of corners better IMO. And the suspension travel on the RC8 has more than any other 8th scale buggy. Go with the RC8 you wont regret it, the only positive is the losi comes with better electronics, I would go with the kit version as mentioned above and add engine etc as you can get funds.

I like kits but nowadays there all pre assembled rolling chassis. Its just not the same and for only like 50 to 90 dollars more you get good radio equipment and a decent engine. You just loose a few features. I was looking at the D8 though...

Here is the other delema. My LHS has parts for the RC8 BUT the track (30 minutes away) has parts for the 8ight. I also figure that ill break more parts at the track and i can always order parts from my LHS, it will just take a couple of days to get.

hey if you get the rc8 ae is offering a shock upgrade for anyone who buys one bettween dec1-21. so buy one and save your reciept! and get some big bores for free! also I just bought one, the buggy is pretty f-ing cool. however the eight does come with better ele's.

The Big Bore Shock deal only applies if you buy the Factory Team version which is a kit/roller.
