HoBao Hyper SS??
 

Hi, I purchased a Hyper SS recently. And I know it just came out, not that long ago. But I am wondering about a couple things...

Has anybody had experience with the Hyper SS or the rest of the Hobao/OFNA buggies? What parts are compatible with my Hyper SS? Do parts from other buggies fit it?

Please let me know any iformation...

A lot of folks on here have a Hyper 7. I'm very interested in the SS, but there is not much posting on this forum about it,. From the pictures I saw, looks like a lot of the Hyper 7 parts will work. I'd suggest calling OFNA (if they still will support it). How are you liking the SS. Would love to see pics/videos of it,

Ofna is just selling off the parts they have and when they are gone, they wont have anything else to do with the HoBao line. Good ole HPI is now the exclusive North American dealer for HoBao. I contacted the rep at HPI recently and they are still not getting all the parts from HoBao so hence their dealers don't have them either.

I like the look of the Hyper SS, have the 7 but I don't know anything about parts interchangeability. I would contact the HoBao rep at HPI and ask those questions. Maybe you will get more answers than I did.

From the pictures of the SS about the only thing I (and many others) can see shared with the H7 would be the diff. casings, so diffs will be interchangeable. Things like suspension arms/hubs/struts/shock towers are completely different though.
If you are needing parts they will no doubt get it sorted, I guess it is just that settling in period.
