RE: esc problem?
Your ESC plugs into your RX. The RX is binded to the TX. Tx talks to RX which talks to ESC/Servos
Sounds like you have a bad RX.....is it a Spectrum or different? Does your TX have memory for multiple vehicles? I've seen some binding issues arise when binding Tx/Memory slot w/ existing settings loaded into the memory. If you do have memory slots, try starting with a blank or delete any settings in memory your trying to bind from. Good Luck |
RE: esc problem?

RE: esc problem?
Binding only occurs between the TX/RX.
The ESC plugs into RX, but you are getting no response from your ESC w/ your Spectrum TX/RX and also no response from another TX/RX. Is that abour right? I suggest the following: Make sure you have a fully charged battery and the battery lead plugged into RX. Bind the TX to RX using std Spectrum procedure. Plug in steering servo to RX. Is the steering servo working/respondiing to TX. Yes? Then Tx is binded to RX. Unplug steering servo from steering slot on RX and plug it into the Throttle slot on the RX. Pull throttle on TX. Does steering servo respond? Yes.....then binding is successful and TX is talking to RX correctly. Replace steeering servo in steering slot in RX. Now you know the TX/RX is binded, both Throttle and steering slots in RX are getting signals; therefore, if you get no response from the ESC.the issue is related to the ESC not rcvg or not translating the signals from the RX. Good Luck. |
