Should I throw it away?

I'm guessing most of u will say yes but here it goes anyway. I bought a redcat backdraft 3.5 last yr cuz I wanted my dad 2 get n2 rc with me. I was new 2 the hobby and just wanted 2 get the least expensive car I could find. I kno, u get what u pay for. Anyway I have become more seasoned this year and have realized what a piece this car is. The plastic on this car sux and I'm gettin sick of replacing parts I should not have 2 replace, mainly my servo saver and the front chassis which is a plastic extension of the main chassis. Also it doesn't seem like I can get the transmission 2 shift n2 2nd. Anyway, if the problems I'm having were not there this buggy would scream! My question 2 all is should I keep pumping money n2 it? I have been lookin online for servo savers and chassis from other cars that I could use to make it legit but don't want 2 risk buying the parts and them not working out. Has any1 ever had this car and made said changes? My brain is telling me 2 junk it but my heart says I can make this thing work, since I've prob bought the car 2-3x buying parts:( help!

sell it outright to someone like yourself getting into the hobby, or shelf it and learn from your mistake without passing it on to someone else to spoil their first experience in the hobby. Look for something durable and inexpensive like a Hyper 7 TQ
