hi all

recommendations on the best pipe/header combo for a Hyper 21 8 port ? is there any way that you can get the thing to sound deeper?

Depends on what you're looking for performance wise. If you want low end acceleration then look at the Ofna 0630 or the 053. If top end is what you need, then look at the Ofna 086. If you're looking for something different sound wise, take a look at the new pipes that Fantom Racing just came out with for .21 size engines. Since they are made form steel instead of aluminum, they resonate differently.

I use a Top EFRA-9886 (#086) pipe with an Ultra MBX header, I'd use the Hyper header but the spring gasket is gone. I also use a bored out OS #20E carb so it seems to narrow the powerband and helps the bottom end some but the top end is insane. Any #068 or #053 pipe should do, but as for makng it sound deep I'm not sure, but possibly a dual chamber or CVEC 1/8 scale pipe might work.
