Twin buggy?

I have a ofna gt lx pro and Im thinking about making it in to a twin. I have a extra ofna/force .26 that I might try and use, its running the same engine right now. the only problem I've come across so far is mounting the servo's and a extra tank. Also about the tank does any of you know were to get a bigger sized tank? I believe that right now the tank is a 125cc tank. Im trying to make it atleast a 250cc tank. Do any of you know if anybody else has done a twin buggy? if you know of anybody could you give me some links or a way to contact this person. I have some questions of what to get and everything. I know I will need a new clutch set up and everything size same gearing(I could go higher gearing since I would have more torque from the two engines right?),same pipe header. Just let me know what you do know about a twin buggy. I greatly appreciate it. Thanks

RE: Twin buggy?

Well you asked.

I cannot for the life of me imagine why you would want to do this. Exactly what are you after? As a "they siad it can't be done so I'll do it" type project I see your point, but for usefulness I don't see any at all. These things are already capable of being way overpowered with a single .21 let alone an illegal big block. I guess again my question is why?

Just buy another 125 and connect them - or better yet just use a seperate 125 for each engine.

RE: Twin buggy?

Reasons why I want to make a twin buggy is that its just really cool. I know right now the buggy is over powered but what im thinking is getting some dominator wheels and tires and making it a truggy or something like that. I have the way to get the throttle working and the sterring working and everything. I think I may make the servo bracket and radio/bat. bracket out of lexan or plexy glass(dont have the stuff to cut aluminum, or to get aluminum). BADBOWTIE yes i would like the picture you have of the twin buggy. I would appreciate it. Thanks

RE: Twin buggy?

if you put another engine on it you can make it go faster without losing the stock acceleration by changing clutch bells:D

Wouldnt I gain acc. and top end? Do any of you know were to get like metal suspension arms and everything? I know ofna makes them but I dont know were to buy them. My lhs does not carry them and I dont know were to find them on the net. I've tried many places but nothing. I figure I will need the parts since the extra power and everything. Im running a ofna gt lx pro BTW. I also need to find some larger axles. I've herd that the 9.5? axles will fit this buggy. is it true? Thanks

you would only need the stronger suspension if you were a bad driver:D and anyway why would you want metal?? then something else would bream more expensive i'd stick with the stock ones...but thats just me:D
