Hiya -

Anyone near Knaresborough?

There is a track in Wakefield I like going to. Not been there lately. Been busy with family working on my electric instead of my 1/8 scale.

Cheers guys... I will definitely check out the track in Slough. Shame we're dotted all over the country or we could meet up for a mega-bash!

Graham, is that a twin engined car you have as you avatar? Is it yours?? If so have you got some more photos please!? I quite fancy the challenge of doing that myself - I bet it goes well?

Merrit, You've got mail. Yes it is. Just look for the thread on the Hybrid 7. When I get used to it I'll take it down to Big Air for a bash.

Alex you could load some pics of your buggy into the gallery section accessed from the base of your posts;)
that way anybody reading your posts could click on it & see your Hybrid;)

Maybe my perception of the UK is wrong, how long does it take to drive from tip to tip and side to side?

On a different forum, we had a get together. I drove 5 hours to be there, other people drove 7-10 hours. NitroAddict got on a plane and flew as did another guy. Surely, someplace in the UK is within driving distance for all of you. I personally find it mind boggling that so many people from a relatively small part of the world are all signed up here. I don't even think I've encountered even 1 person that's also from this state.

If you guys do get together, I expect videos of adam whooping that dual engine hybrid. :D And don't leave out the fist fight when Alex looses. LOL

Hi,
Did anything come of this thread?, only had savage for about a month, but looking to add a buggy, seen as summers here (although you wouldn't think by today) are there any bashe's/meets happening? I'm from the north east, near Middlesbrough and unless i'm mistaken, lacking in decent sized land/tracks ect. well anything worth considering a meet.

Hi, Theres a few places in the north east. The best one though that I know of and go to every week is the track at a place called Rowley which is near consett county durham. You should come up. We race buggies and trucks and lately, but on a trial period, the large scale stuff. If you go into the other bashing spots forum of max bashing then you will find Rowley offroaders there.

I sympathise Michaelthefirst.

Saw that rowley place, chrs, well worth a look i think, there in the midst of moving track at mo, if memory serves me right, but only to what looks like a field or two away.

Try this Judge [link]http://www.modellinc.com/forums/index.php?showforum=30[/link] Got me wishing there was enough of us up here to do summit like that.

(catch up with ya on msn soon)

Having no tracks to bash.
We Have a big forest here but unless your into crawling it aint much fun, just one long track running throughout the forest.

As far as the model shop goes, i've never ordered from them, only browsed the site.

Thx for the info and invo Madlad, might pay a visit when i get buggy, then i can bring both.
