kinda of lost!

ok i have narrowed my choices (so i think) to a Kyosho Kanaii edition III or the new one comign out soon, a Mugen MBX-5RR,or the new Thunder Tiger (can think of model name has box style slum chassis and silver carbon parts) if anyone knows that model post it please. I was a high end racing buggy and these look like my choices. What do you all like/reccomend? this will be a racing buggy mostly with a occasional bashing when the buddies come over. I will be putting a RB concept mill in there. Anything else i am open to and want ya'alls advice! money isnt a thing for me cause i dont mind paying for good stuff!;)

kanaii III without a doubt, its expensive, but you said that wasnt a problem, and for your money you will get the best.

You should get a Traxxas Monster Buggy 1/6th scale.. It goes 45 minutes on ONE (1) tank of gas!!! YEAAAA!

Now on the serious side...Either the Mugen or the Kyosho are both excellent choices.

However why arent you considering the Ofna Hyper 7 Pro? I mean It may be considered my My Toyota(ofna) to your Lexus(Mugen/Kyo) But its still an awesome buggy!

My advice is to sit on that fat wallet for about another month until we see what the new Kyosho buggy looks like.

That is a good tip, Although I dunno if it will be out by then, and also if it will honestly be better than the K3. From what I have heard and what was posted on that website In Furuland, the K3's were prevailing over the MP777 or 7.7.

True, but I remember when the MBX-4 was beating up on the 7.5 in Europe before it debuted. I think it is a combination of tweaking and sandbagging, like it was then.

Maybe not as much fiction as one might think.

You people have it all wrong, the new Thunder Tiger Eb4 S3 may be better than you think, from what we have seen from the S2 it should be great. The S2 is outdated and can still keep up with the best. The S3 may be a serious competitor to the Kanai 3 seeing as its a new buggy, perhaps it wont but i wouldnt underestimate Thunder Tiger.

I would head over to a local track so you can see one scoot first hand, and you can look at the differences up close, If there is an 1/8th scale buggy track in your area, someone is bound to have one of each, I have a small track here and I see a little of everything, most cars are Hyper 7s though, cheaper than Kyosho and Mugen and they are more than enough for the average Joe Racer. Hyper 7 Pro if you can find one then an RB motor!! WS7II. Looks like the Picco P3 has a little bit of power as well.

Thunder Tiger X-Force is what I last heard it referred to as... unofficially. Looks like a very nice buggy. I'm a happy EB-4 S2 Pro owner (two of them) so I'm a bit bias. But they seem to have designed quite a sweet little machine.

If you're sinking that much money into a buggy, the truth is they'll all be quite good in quality, performance, etc. It all comes down to personal preference. Just my opinion, no flames please.

I also run the S2 Pro by Thunder Tiger, and Im very happy.
Very solid buggy, besides some stupid things ive done, i havent broken anything due to a design flaw. The instructions were exact, and the fit was nice and tight.

Im getting the new TTR when it makes its debut, so im kinda partial :)

Dont get me wrong though, my buddy has a modded Hyper 7 and a Bergonzoni and those are also nice buggies. The Hyper 7 Pro has been raced quite a bit and hasnt had any problems... I think it all depends on the the mechanic/driver that will decide how much fun and durability you will experience with your buggy.

when are all these cars coming out?...i bet itll be after the world champs to try and give team drivers an advantage....there should be a rule that cars have to be available to the public before being eligible to score race wins, like homologation rules in rallying or world superbike...
