Here is my 8ight all cleaned up for racing tomorrow and my first try at airbrushing. I couldn't get the airbrush to spray small enough to do the shadowing better but thats a whole other thread....LOL.

You can get it straight from www.himotoracing.com HK. They have it in black too. Not sure what hobby shops carry it.
But with shipping it will cost you about $30! Himoto shipping is HIGH!

Harawong, what is that thing that appears to be going from your steering servo to your anteena hole? is hta the way you routed your antenae, it will probably reduce your range, and increase the chance of glitching.

I KNEW SOMEONE WAS GONNA SAY THAT, no i havent hooked it to my steering servo, check out pic 2 its standing up(the antenna tube), the way i have taken the picture makes it look like i have hooked it to my steering servo, thanks for pointing it out, NAthan

OK. never seen an aneenae tube that bent forward.. Wondering but dont you have a problkem with the anteenae being relly loose in its mount? When i first got mine i turned the little filter mount 90degrees, and ziptied my antenna tube to it.

Here are some pictures of my Kyosho Infernos

1 - K3 Green body

2 - K2 White body

3 - The first kit version of the 7.5 Yellow body

I buy and sell a lot of these cars and I have a funny story.

I had just finished rebuilding a K2 and was going to put it up for sale on the weekend. My friend (he owns the yellow buggy) came over that week with claims his engine is soooo fast he want to race me. When I saw his buggy it was in a shambles and wouldn't make it down the block. So I took out his engine and radio equipment and installed it in my K2 I just rebuilt. His receiver antenna looked like it was cut at one point so I asked him if he had any problems with his radio going out of range, to which he replied NO Never. So I didn't give it any other thoughts.

I got everything installed in my just rebuilt K2 and started ripping around my driveway to warm up his engine. His engine seemed to be very powerful and looked like it was going to be fast. So I drove it out to the street and punched it. All four wheels started to spin and when it finally caught traction it took off like a rocket straight down the street towards the intersection (I live in the middle of the block). Not ten feet away from me the signal was lost and this car went flying down the street at full kilt.

The car was tuned so good it went straight dawn the block slightly towards the curb, I am thinking GREAT there goes all the hard work I just done, but it keeps going straight down the block as my friend is telling me to slow down. I replied it's on it own I can't control it anymore.

It made it all the way to the corner and road up my neighbors grass, I am thinking it is going to hit his huge bush and come to a stop. It went right through the bust and just misses the telephone pole. Then it was out of my site (mind you I am in the middle of the block and I can barley see this car at this point) and I here a huge BANG which sounded like a real car accident. We both are running to the corner to see how bad the damage is. When we get there we could not find anything but the Yellow body in the middle of the intersection.

Too make a long story short, it hit someone’s car at full speed and got stuck to it. The person who’s car got hit never stopped. I never saw that buggy again. It was going full throttle down the block and had to get air born going over my neighbor’s lawn. I think it went right through the door skin of the car and the idiot never stopped to see what happened.
That is why the front of the yellow body in front of the shock tower is missing in the pictures.

Well I thought I would share that with you guys.

This is a true story.

Hope you enjoyed my story.
