Best looking buggy shell
Post what you think is the best looking buggy shell i.e Mugen Kyosho Sportwerks Mayhem or Ho-Bao/ Ofna Hyper7, this is to be done on the shape of the shell not what it's got on it/inside it i.e paint jobs.
My favourite is the Hyper 7 (and not just cos' i've got one) it is more rounded than the other buggies and the slightly raised bits before the rear shock towers looks great |
RE: Best looking buggy shell
The EB4 S2 body is NIIIICE>>>... Very low profile with nice details.

RE: Best looking buggy shell
i used to really like the smallness of the MBX5 but now i think it has to be the 777[8D]
if you check out the roof & window line on the right hand side it looks a bit like the early Porsche 911's:D |
RE: Best looking buggy shell
I wasn't expecting such a good response 5 mins that's been up there just searching google pics to find these things, see what they look like:D

RE: Best looking buggy shell
I'm not too keen on the new MP777 body. Looks very boxy, a bit like a Lada!
I suppose its what its got underneath that counts. The MBX-5 is good looking along with the Hyper 7. Another dubios one is the Crono! |
RE: Best looking buggy shell
I've always thought Mugens were a bit box like myself

I had one of these. It was cheap, that is all I can say!
|
RE: Best looking buggy shell
Crono's are boxy as well, sorry adam 777's do look a bit like Lada's. Why are most buggy shells so boxy!!!
|
RE: Best looking buggy shell
I like the looks of the Mayhem body, but it's kind of a pain to put on. Don't know if all of the buggy bodies are a tight fit, but the Mayhem is. Looks good though!
The body I like the most is the Kyosho MP-7.5 Kanai lll. Like it's lines! |
RE: Best looking buggy shell
Whats a "Lada"? Is that some Pikey term? lol j/k
I like the Hyper 7 Body lines the best. Secondhas to be the Majestic Bodies for the Hyper 7. Third will be the 777's. |
RE: Best looking buggy shell
A Lada. From someone who owns a Skyline. Come on if you've got the sense to own one of those you gotta know what the polish trash can is.
But how about the ugliest Buggy shell. Gotta be the Bergonzoni Flash. |
RE: Best looking buggy shell
Sorry, not familair with the Polish Trash Can. Care to elaborate?
|
RE: Best looking buggy shell
Got beat by one of them polish trash cans last year, or was it...! Anyway, didn't like the body on it! TEAMPOLISHTRASHCAN[sm=eek.gif]?

RE: Best looking buggy shell
i like the proline crowd pleaser for the 7.5 series. ever notic the slight concave in the roof? very smooth lines and just plain sexy. [sm=kiss.gif] too bad they dont have one like that for my mugen yet.

RE: Best looking buggy shell
i think the H7 bodies are sweetass, and ofna ultra lx/mbx pro bodies are the uggliest, they sit so high up and cover the shocktower tops. that body is just gay, has anyone put an h7 body on an ultra, i want to do it bad because im tired of running with no body because im too embarest to run with the dumb stocker.

RE: Best looking buggy shell
I am going to have to root for the Mayham buggy body on this one. I like it! Very sleek and very functional!!
The OFNA Hyper 7 body is nice too! Mugen's MBX 5 body is pretty killer, but I like pro-line's crowd pleaser better! ;) The OFNA GT LX body needs to be trashed. They should destroy the molds they came from. The Kyosho body on the Kanai 3 is pretty nice! I haven't seen what the 777's body looks like. The Hot Bodis Pro 2 body looks pretty sleek as well! Well that's my $.02 plus tax and bills. |

Just been on Proline's website. They have a NEW Crowd Pleazer shell named the 2.0 for the MP777!
Very nice! (reply to K-carboy - you can get the Crowd Pleazer shell for the Mugen, checkout their website.) |

Grahama89,
I think you've got way too much idle time on your hands! I took up basket weaving to help me fill those idle hours, cause afterward I can sell the baskets! All you've got to show for your time is a picture of a hybrid Yugo! Can't sell that!:D |
RE: Best looking buggy shell
The proline sheel is a definite improvement, when they tried to copy the H7 though.... they put the small raised bits on the wrong shock tower!!! They go on the back, Proline:eek: and the central 'cockpit' does look a bit 'space bubble pod'ey they went a bit crazy on the rounding, But maybe i'm too critical
Edit: is it just me or did they not get Lada's in the US, Skyline350Gt's never heard of em and oldchopdoc seems to think it's a 1/8th scale, unless i'm very much mistaken. If they didn't I don't know jow they got away with it, maybe they were lucky:eek: |
RE: Best looking buggy shell
POLISH trash can, could have sworn they were Russian?
Edit: I have evidence!! and it's off the site that you posted:D In 1966, an agreement between Fiat and the Soviet Government was signed, so that a new car factory could be built some 600 miles south-east of Moscow beside the river Volga |
RE: Best looking buggy shell
Probably are Russian but who cares.
|
RE: Best looking buggy shell
i think the mp 777 body because of the low clean lines. i also like the mbx 4 and 5 body. the hyper 7 body is WEAK.
|
RE: Best looking buggy shell
The Lada is Russian. The "Polish Trash Can" is YUGO.
