yeah a bit too far for us to go unless you got a sponsor.

seems more of an electric motor comp as they seem to just pack it out with extra cells, unless you know how to make nitro motor.

would they except the tether car cos those things do 200mph+ but run on guide lines. if you can modify that you got a winner

BUT OOOOOHHHHHHH IT IS TOO FAR TO COME AND TRY TO BREAK A WORLD RECORD...IF YOU THINK YOU GOT THE STUFF AND YOU THINK YOU CAN BEAT 111MPH.... PUT-UP OR SHUT-UP. YOU SAY IT IS TOO FAR TO COME AND COMPETE WELL THAN MAYBE YOU SHOULD SAVE UP FOR THE AIRFAIR YOU HAVE 10 MONTHS...HECK I KNOW I CAN'T BEAT THAT AND I WON'T EVEN TRY TO SAY THAT I EVEN KNOW SOMEONE WHO CAN.....CHECK YOUR SPECS SEE IF YOU EVEN QUALIFY BY THE STANDARDS GIVEN.....AND THEN IF AND ONLY IF YOU QUALIFY THAN GET YOUR CAR OVER HERE AND SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT......

To complain about how far you have to come to try and beat a world record is just dumb.

i probably wouldnt get my visa stamped from the missus...lol

any way i dont think i know enough to compete, considering what sort of people you will find will enter. so i think my complaints come with reasoning.

the teather car idea is just that...an idea.

i think this will work if you know how to do it.

The question I would have is that the reason that the teather car can go so fast is because since it is conected to line and when it gets to the end of its line the weight of the car is cought in the line and there is less weight for the engine to push, hense the reason why teather cars go so fast...if you put one up against a super fast regular real driving R/C then I believe the teather car would get beat....
Just my two pence.
