I would check out the Mac .21, it's on sale for $209 at atomic motorsports.

i think you have a prob other than the motor? it shouldnt be going full throttle? i think you need to look at your linkage for the throttle? it might save you some cash...

check out the OS V Spec, if its power you want then it seems to be a very good engine putting out 2.94 bhp at 28,050.There is a review on it at http://www.rcnitro.com/rn/articles/dyno_vzbvspec.asp

I haven't touched the needles for 2 months now. The tune is solid.

I also ran the wasp.26 in my k3 for awhile and hated it. It's a spin all four tires full throttle (on/off switch) engine that's uncontrollable that runs out of steam real fast. I was adjusting the needles all the time to compenaste for minor atmospheric changes. Throttle response wasn't very good no feathering the throttle with this engine. It's big and heavy. Then I got the V-Spec and :D.

Not very expensive at $300-$500??? Geez, what's expensive to you? [&:] But, I highly recommend the Mac .21, and even more so at the limited time offer of $209. Mine runs very well from top to bottom as well as another guy at my track who runs the modded version of the same motor. Idles very well and comes up on the pipe real quick. Great power and realiable to boot. Of course in your price range there are loads of great motors.
