WD40 or white spirit, or soapy water with tooth brush.

Toothbrush and soapy water, then old nitro fuel to get rid of the bad stains, followed by more toothbrush and soapy water.

i used to use simple green, but i am quite sure that it ate away the rubber seal on the front bearing of 2 engines of mine. so don't use that stuff

A tooth brush, CRC electric parts cleaner, pipe cleaning brush, and Nitro blast. Then for after run oil I use Mavel mystery oil.

thats what i use, cheap to. around $6 a gallon. then pick up a spray bottle or a small sprayer from a lawn and garden shop.

i use a tooth brush some dentaured alchahol and some old nitro fuel i have lying around. Make sure that when you clean your motor you flush it with nitro as if you leave any soapy water it may rust if you leave dentared alchahol it may change the tune due to change in mixtures.

I perfer the denautred acholhol myself, but in a crunch Carb and choke cleaner and/or break cleaner will also work.
