Questions
I live up here in Wisconsin near a 1/8 scale track. Its in a town close to me (Oshkosh). Im thinking about getting back into racing this year and have been looking at some of the buggys out there. I only have around 5 bills to get a buggy. The one Im looking at is the X-1 CR RTR. So if anyone cant tell me anything about this buggy or some of the other ones out there that I might want to look at??? Im looking for something that can grow with me. Married with kids my racing budget will be very small so the buggy will have to handle a race season without getting alot put into it.

RE: Questions
Well, I'm not a Jammin expert, but the CR is the kit not the RTR
the X1 RTR comes ready to go, but like many RTRs it doesn't come with a race legal motor, You may be able to race it with the .26, that up to the tracks race director, for most club races, nobody cares (unless you win LOL) Truthfully if you get a RTR you'll want to upgrade the steering servo and battery right away at least, if not the whole radio system. The Jammin is a good start, but I would expect to spend a few more hundies getting yourself truely "ready to race" |
