need help with TT EB-4

I got a Thunder Tiger EB-4 and it appears to be the orignal one. The problem is that the pull start has broken and i am having a hard time finding another one. and the start box i have is just not strong enough or i am not doing it right because i am tearing up the wheel on it. Does any one know of another way i can start it up.

Sorry but it will not easy to get a pull start for the TTR engine on the S2, I assumed. There are a few ways you can go about this if you cannot find a poll start for it:

1)Set up your box again and checked that the engine is not seized up
2)Loosen the glow plug and try starting again
3)If it still cannot turn, put a few drops of AF oil into the piston sleeve and try again
4)The Drill Start/Pull Start for the AE/TTR 21 on the MGT may fit
5) If everything else fails, get a new engine

Hope this helps!!

I think the stock flywheel/chassis hole is problematic, as I couldnt use a bump box on my S2... the wheel fouled the chassis without touching the flywheel...

I never bothered to check to see if it was the flywheel too small or the hole in the chassis, I sold it soon after to fund some other purchases...

If the shaft is still poking out the backplate when you remove the pull start housing, you may be able to stick a 6mm hex adapter on the shaft and use a hex start wand like the heli guys and rotostart guys use..

:D
