Locking the center diff?
 

I was wondering what the downsides would be be stuff my center diff with somthing like RTV? The buggy is an Ofna 9.5 MBX w/ the .26 :)

Right now when I drive it, it seems like it unloads to the front wheels since they have the least traction which I hate!

I think that it might push in the corners from the rear wheels having too much power when they have traction, vs, the front tires unloading and pulling the front over with the wheels spinning pulling the front of the truck over. I don't know how to explain it but it works in my head.

if it unloads to the front wheels you probably havent got anything in the diffs, you need to fill them with silicone oil.

Well it doesnt completely unload but it seems like the fronts are getting 70% of the power.

What weight oil are you running in your center diff? Try going thicker. I'm running 7000 front, 10,000 center and 1,000 rear. Experiment around and see what set up works for you. It may take a little time though.

its good to have front power for off road, what you should try is locking the front diff... watch your car fly around those corners

If you lock the centre diff the car will wheelie/flip under hard acceleration on bumpy surfaces...

80% fill it with 10,000 wt oil, and then reduce the wt if the car does the above...

Locking the front diff will cause the car to push on in the corners, but give better drive out of the corners... 7,000 wt oil is usally enough to give the right balance of on and off power steering and drive...
