One off chassis
 

I was think about having some one off parts made for my Ultra MBX Comp, Ya know Carbon Fiber parts. chassis, shock towers, servo tray,....you know all alum part to carbon. Ideas??? ups??, downs???, ideas ?? PS my woman can make all of the CAD drawings for the CNC machine.

Ups - lighter, cool looking.
Downs - not as strong.

Serious racers only need apply, as the weight saving is not worth the extra fragility to mere mortals...more of an on-road thing in my opinion, as on road cars (should) spend less time flying through the air and landing on their roofs/shock towers/bumpers etc.

If you do it, make sure you get more than one of everything made...
