Diff problems or just rebuilt by an idiot!
 

I have just rebuilt my diffs and put my normal oil in each 5K front 7K middle and 1K rear I have also put a new Pro UK Chassis and new HO BAO HYPER 7 FRONT/REAR CENTRE CVA SWINGSHAFT.

This is the 2nd time I have rebuilt my diffs, but this time when I push the car along the ground it does not free wheel like it did before, there seems to be a lot of resistsnce and one good push only sends it about 2 feet before the resistance brings the car to a halt. have I missed something? Will this resistance go after a few runs? I don't remember having this problem the last time I rebuilt. I have check breaks and clutch both are OK.

Diffs only filled 3/4 full with oil.

U could reopen them to see if a tiny piece of plastic or dirt got into them as that would stop the smoth running of the diff.

have you adjusted your brakes? because i adjusted mine too tight and it would do the same so check those brakes

is it notchy feeling? what does it feel like when it rolls?

if your talking about rolling it on the floor I dout its a problem with the diffs themselves. Sounds like you forgot a shim or too on the pinions that drive the ring gears. When the gears are new they need to be broken in and they become accustom to that position. Changing the position causes them to mesh improperly. I would go back and make sure I didnt forget anything and bolt the diff cases to the chassis in a cross pattern like how you screw on an engine head.
