RE: engine help

The fastest Cheapest Mill, only if there were such a thing we would all have one.

The cheapest mill with any speed I would say Hyper 21 8 Port from ebay at 69.99 buy now.

look at the CMD MAC .21 , its as fast as pretty much any other motor out there in most respects. I just ran one in yesterday and it kept up with a JP B5 mod on the straights, it lacks a little on the bottom but i havent even tried a proper clutch setup yet and i never found myself needing more power to keep up with other buggies. I was VERY impressed seeing as it costs $159 with a spare crankshaft(crankshafts usually cost around $70). I own a v-spec as well and I can barely see a difference if any. It used to cost $330 but its on a clearance sale at the moment so basicly you get a top of the range racing mill for the price of something like an O.S RG or Hyper 8 port. If ur down on ur budget you must look at it because there is nothing better for that price. Go to www.cmdracing.com and call or email them to buy.

ALDEN is correct in that the MAC is a great engine with lots of power - no doubt about it! A couple of guys have them where I run and they are great engines. I have seen it keep up with a modded RB no problem!

If your budget can't afford the MAC and you don't want to wait until you can afford it - take a look at the OS RG -- that thing can scream!

If you want an engine that kicks , a sh.21 6 port. Hobby People sell them for $229 , but Dinbal has an Ebay store and sells them for $169. I`ve raced against RBs , v-specs ,ofna .21 race , o.s , and some others. The SH has great all around power , every track I`ve been to everyone comes to my pit and wants to see what I`m running. You won`t go wrong with it.

I personally like the GS .21, Its Great on gas and it holds a great tune right from the break in process, and starts and runs Awesome. $130.00 brand new from gs racing. I dont know where to get it cheaper, because I have the same one that came with the Storm RTR, Its also a pretty tough engine come to think about it, because my freinds that I run with in a parking lot, ( size of a football feild) do laps around it, lots of laps[&:] and it takes those high rpm's for about 2 hrs. with of course a break in between 3 to 4 tanks of gas but I would say its usally the last one running out there and the first to start. And the engines that I'm racing against are HPI .15 Wasp .18 Os .18 I probably have about 15 gal. ran through it ( SIDEWINDER 20%) and it still runs like its just brokin in, and yes I have changed my clutch shoes.[&:]
