Mayhem Engine?
 

I was wondering if anyone knows how to make the Mayhems engine to be able to bump start? Because its to high up to bump start it now. And I noticed if you were to lower it, the drill starter on it would not let you lower it. [&:] Thank You

Use any lower motor mount and put a backing plate on it for about $15. Backplate will also stop the small leaks that go threw the one way bearings and crap so you will get slightly more time on a tank and slightly better performance though its hardly noticable. I don't have a mayhem so I'm not sure if you could do this... but putting a bigger flywheel on it would work if it will fit.

for the Mayhem, use the following:
- lower motor mount
SWK9228 Heavy Duty Engine Mounts

- backing plate

and optional
- a litter bigger flywheel
SWK9190 Vented Flywheel

The vented flywheel will not work with the pro mounts. The flywheel does not go back far enough so the clutch bell will line up with the spur gear. I thought it was just me but my local hobby shop sent 5 of them back for the same reason. The only way I see to correct the problem is to cut down the rtr mounts that you can slide the engine back or forward. This is just my experience , may not be everyones.

The Mach .26 as i known is the same as the sportwerks engine. I have a mach .26 none pull start for my Hyper and .26 sportwerks w/ ps for my raptor and here's the back plate part number if you need it.#DYN0922 backplate
I don't know if you need to replace the crank as the one way bearing is inside the engine, not at the outside backplate, the pin of the crank that goes to the one way bearing housing is none removable, no spring, pin is together with the crank, unless you deside to cut it with your dremell tools?
DNY0920 nonpullstart crankshaft sg type, DYNO0917 nonpull std crankshalf, if you want to replace it.

Yea, the problem is the pro mounts are non adjustable. I gave mine to a buddy and he put it on his hyper, but it would not fit the Mayhem.

you can also get the XTM bumpstart backplate for the .247 and .21. that might actually be cheaper.
