Digital servo problem?
 

Setup is m11 with specktrum and digital jr servos Z9000.(all new)
The servos make alot of noise when moving almost like grinding/clicking, but they seem to work.
Is this normal? Has anyone else seen this? could my specktrum be bad?

Digital servos make noise alot of the time. I believe this is due to the servos checking themselves over and over again. At least this is what i was told. I could be wrong, but i do know for sure that it is ok for them to hum a little. They all do...

the hum is the servo trying to find perfect center..they will all do that until it reaches it...you can minimize this by really being anal about setting up your radio....make sure you set all EPAs and linkages as neeeded.....if you rservo is humming, it's using power.....battery packs will go dead faster until you can limit how much it hums...remember digital servos need to have EP stops or they will cook the controller in them.....always better to have slightly less travel on the servo if you aren't sure.....
