To Get, Or Not To Get
Well I have a LX Comp and was thinking of racing, and I was thinking of puting this .21 in it, and was wondering if anyone has this motor and how is it?

RE: To Get, Or Not To Get
i wouldnt expect that engine to last a really long time (because it is inexpensive) but i dont know for shure...if you are looking for a cheap .21 i say this one: http://www.rcboca.com/product.php?pr...2&cat=7&page=1 at the track the other day and i was amazed at how much torque it had for such a cheap engine...but then again that might not last that long either.

RE: To Get, Or Not To Get
I have a LX Comp and I have an OS RG in it. This is a very good engine. But you should get one without pullstart.

RE: To Get, Or Not To Get
yea make shure you get a non-pullstart...they suck lol;)

RE: To Get, Or Not To Get
Well, when you are looking for a good top speed what should you look at, the rpm, torque, or hp?

RE: To Get, Or Not To Get
one way bearings.. long story on those
go starter box and if you want a good .21 heres a good os and its $$ its called the os vspec race motor $300 on tower non pullstart |
RE: To Get, Or Not To Get
i dont know this for a fact but i think he is after a cheaper engine...the vspec is a great engine but it isnt great for your wallet thickness...

RE: To Get, Or Not To Get
Find out whether your track has a displacement requirement of .21 for engines. If not, you can pretty much get the V-Spec performance, for less than half the price with a Sportwerks .26 engine.
