Need Help
Hey,
I was just driving my buggy, and when I went to start it, I notice that the srew that holds the clutchbell, came out. So I took the motor out, and tightened the srew. SO I tested it, and everytime I pulled the pullstart, I could see that the srew was backing out.So what should I do? |
RE: Need Help
Blue thread lock [sm=thumbup.gif]
|
RE: Need Help
what is the difference between the blue and the other colors.
|
RE: Need Help
Different strength - blue is some kind of medium, red is damn close to welding the srews permanently.
Loctite or any other name brand works good. I get mine from AutoZone. |
RE: Need Help
I don't have loctite but I was wondering if the white color glue that the kids get in school will work?
|
RE: Need Help
Now wya that will work that stuff will just melt. Spend the $3.00 and get some thread lock. But make sure you get the Blue LEVEL locktite becxause some companies put the red lovktite in there blu bottles, and i once put red locktite on my engine screws, I eventually had to deremel them out because they were so tight.

RE: Need Help
what about crazy glue. I know i'm being cheap, but if being cheap works, than you be cheap.
|
RE: Need Help
pay now or pay latter..usually when ya pay latter its way more
don't be cheap...nothing will work like loctite for metal on metal, especially in high heat areas like the clutch screw |
RE: Need Help
Ok, any way cheap can be a waste of money.
