RE: jammin and hyper

They are totally different. Hyper is made by HoBao and the X1 is made by HongNor.

They are both 1/8th scale buggies though. And both are distributed by OFNA here in the U.S.A (despite being from the two different manufacturers mentioned above).

Both are excellent buggies in kit form, and not bad RTRs either. The Jammin (in kit form) was rated in by XRC magazine as second best behind the Kyosho MP777 SP1. It was ahead of the Mugen MBX5 Prospec, the XRAY XB8, the TTR S3, and the GS Avenger.

While you can't base everyting on a magazine shootout, it does show that the kit definitely isn't a contender for crappiest on the market.

kx makes all good points, and as he has said in the past, it also comes down to the driver. you wil find the jammin very driver friendly, but both are equally good for 95% of racers out there.

RE: jammin and hyper

jammin is designed after the kyosho mp777 so it is almost as good as it, but it has the durability of the hyper 7 line and then new hyper 8 looks to be a great buggy, pretty much as good as jammin or better in my opinion, i've seen some videos of it, and it looks AWSOME!!

RE: jammin and hyper

The Jammin is better by geometry design. A lot of new kids out at the track say they all look the same, but they are not.
I had a Hyper 7 that I raced for 6 months till I drove a Kyosho SP-1, Mugen pro spec, Jammin X1, X-ray XB8 and a SportWerks Mayhem. All of those I test drove were better than the Hyper 7. After driving them, they all tend to have certain driving characteristics and the Kyosho and Jammin were what I liked the best. After driving them, I found out why I liked the Jammin. It's designed off of Kyosho. There are no copy right infringements in China.

So, the Hyper 7 and Jammin are not even close. Jammin!!!
