Horrible design!!
the battery packs on the hyper 7 are the worst design i ever encountered. I was running the hyper 7 outside in the back-yard, and the buggy lost all power and control. It went speeding into a bench. Then i took the body off of it and found the battery pack missing. Only the wires remained. What gives? What is wrong with the hyper line of buggies?

RE: Horrible design!!
Not sure what happened. I never had that happen to any of my hypers.

RE: Horrible design!!
If you are talking about the flat pack holder that goes on the side of the radio box, you are supposed to zip tie your pack to it. If you had it inside the radio box (using a hump pack) it should be held shut with an allen screw (or body clip, I can't remember). Either way requires that you forgot something, and thats why the pack fell out.

RE: Horrible design!!
Yeah, you don't have any zip ties or velcro or anything else for that matter keeping the batteries from falling out.

Thanks. I appreciate the help

RE: Horrible design!!
Remeber its better to put a bunch extra zip-ties then have that happen again. I use 4 zip ties (inbetween each battery cell) to hold the flat pack down on my PCR.

RE: Horrible design!!
wow. 4 zip ties. I now use rubber bands. Ok, time to cut them off and put zip ties on. I really appreciate the help(X2).
