RE: receiver issue
Most likely the Radio systems were just not compatible
you can't use a positive shift Rx with a negative shift Tx and Vis-Versa,, they both have to e the same. Also they must be on the same band 27 or 75mhz, and AM or FM Futaba and hitec are compatible Airtronics only work with airtronics The same for JR The RTR radios are made either by Airtronics or Futaba for the most part I think my RTR hyper7 had an Airtronics made system, |
RE: receiver issue
ORIGINAL: had enough Airtronics only work with airtronics The same for JR |
RE: receiver issue
If you say so,
I haven't used either in quite a while, I know years back when I flew planes they were not I guess I've been a Futaba guy too long |
RE: receiver issue
This is firsthand knowledge. I have both a JR XS3 and a Airtronics MX-3.

RE: receiver issue
I just replaced my Airtronics Blazer sport radio with a Futaba MS and Im still using the Airtronics receiver. Both radios are AM and both 75mhz. Both radios are junk but its working so far I havent run the car in a big open field yet but it worked well in my backyard

RE: receiver issue
Pretty much anything AM will work with anything AM. It's FM that has the problems. You can also use a Futaba FM 75mhz Receiver with an Airtronics 75 Mhz radio.. I know cause I do with my M11. But you do have to use the Airtronics crystals with that.
