Where is the Losi 8ight bashing or official thread?
 

I have been away a second.. but surely with the magazine reviews trickling out on the 8ight. I thought for sure i would see an official thread.

Have people just run out of money to care about a new buggy. Gas prices have kept me from wanting to travel to race... :(

But really nothing is on the front page of this forum... let me know what i missed.

Point taken, except the last entry is mid-june. Why has the thunder died?

Is everyone's race schedule picked up or are a lot of people burned out?

The 8ight will not be released until August. Look for posts after that.

Yep, the hype started too soon....far from the release date. And wiith no new news, no new videos, no efforts by Losi to promote the car other than Drake racing results and letting a couple of editors drive it, the buzz was sure to die.

I agree the name is slightly stupid, BUT, as a long time losi driver, I look fwd to a test drive as I have loved their 10th scale gear the entire time I have been into racing but have always used Kyosho for the 1/8 scale. Just want to see if someone else has a car out there that suits my driving style.

I'm fairly sure the only thing stupid about the buggy will be the name. Losi makes quality gear.

Drake TQ'ed won with it again in Mid June (16-18) For the Panther Products off road challenge. I think that makes this car damn near undefeated.
