good starter buggy
hey guys. I have been into nitro for about 3 years now with a TC and a Nitro evader. I am dicing up weather to get a Buggy or a monster truck. I will be doin pretty hard bashingh and i like the speed and durability of buggies. What is a buggy that would cost around 400ish US that is strong, fast, and a great basher.
The MT i want is a MGT so it is either a MGT or some kind of buggy. I am very indecisive when buying things so i need some good reasons. Would u say a buggy would be tougher than a MGT? I will be bashing in dirt, grass, BMX tracks, some times road, and lots of jumping. Please help me choose. CHEERS |
RE: good starter buggy

OFNA ultra lx buggy. Its cheap and its bullet proof and it comes with a big block .26 force

RE: good starter buggy
I have a hyper 7, but am also casting an eye over the MGT. The MGT won't be as fast but it will probably be slightly easier to use and I would think is slightly more adapted for bashing. It has a huge engine, 2 speeds and a reverse as well as 2 methods of starting (pull start and cordless drill). The MGT will also go over much rougher terrain.
I love buggies and would not sell mine to buy a truck, but I think from what you say you want to do with it I'd suggest you look at the MGT very hard Just for comparison (in case you didn't know) all buggies are single speed (Unless modified), no reverse, less ground clearance. They do however handle MUCH better |
RE: good starter buggy
You CAN buy a 2 speed for the Hyper 7 though;) Only problem is it likes to shift in the air and tends to be hard on some parts of the car. But same happens with the MTs so whatever:D
Though I suggest this here: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXMVT4&P=0 Best of both worlds :) If you want one that's more race-oriented, try this one out: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXLUJ0&P=0 If you do decide to go for a buggy though, it sounds like the Hyper 7 PBS is the one for you. |
