Running without a stinger

I recently crashed sideways into a small schrub (or should i say a really tiny tree) and I dented the pipe where the stinger is. The stinger is bent, almost facing the rear of the car and the pipe has a big dimple going IN the pipe. I tried rebending it, but i accidently cracked the stinger. Now the stinger is hangin on the pipe. If I take it off completely, will it affect my car at all?

In a word, NO. But it will affect the engines performance as the pulse will be altered slightly, Possibly makine the engine a little thirstier and mildly less powered.

RE: Running without a stinger

Just ran it today... seems like it is missing the extra UMPH that it needs off of take-off. And the sound is really LOOOOW pitch. I twisted the pipe 90ยบ so that the hole is facing the floor. +1 for me! lol.
