Best advice. Get rid of it and get a better buggy straight away.

the rex-x or xterminator as it is known in the us is quite a tough buggy, the only weak spot is the tabs on the front and rear diff cases (they stick up like a pair of rabbit ears) either make up some braces for them or carry some spare ones . appart from that thier fine

i still have mine its not as good a racer as my ttr eb4 s3 but its just as tough, and didnt wear parts anuywhere near as fast as my hyper7 did.

RE: Rex-x

Change the grease in the difs to oil 5000F, 7000C, 3000R
Lock tight all screws change the cluch shoes to aluminum
change the tyres to some good ones
The only part I take to the race track is front shock tower all other parts work fine.
I race against Xrays, hyper8 etc and I most of the time last

I have taken out my 2 speed it was not to good off road the dirt on the plastic gears bearing etc and the fact that the buggy
handled no very good. There was one good thing it was fast. At my club single speed only for racing.

some users will bash you for what you have "get rid of it, get a better one"...

ignore the statements. They enjoy starting flame wars.

The Rex x IS a strong buggy, but it has a lot of room for improvements.

Best feature in avoiding flamewars with forum trolls is this image here:

Click that under the user's post that you wish not to read or hear from anymore... and problem is solved.
