RE: OFFICIAL HYPER 7 THREAD

How you doing....to answer your question there very competetive out of the box .....they do need a little tweeking though....the RTR's are nice but if you can afford it go kit...[8D]

RE: OFFICIAL HYPER 7 THREAD

I find mine very competitive, I've only raced mine 3 times so can't say 100% but so far it feels very good at the track. If you don't mind used there are alot of deals on ebay or and the buy & sell section of this forum.

RE: OFFICIAL HYPER 7 THREAD

so what is the difference between the hyper 7 and hyper 8? and if i get a kit what parts willl i need to make it run?

jonnymac 05-11-2007 09:30 AM

RE: OFFICIAL HYPER 7 THREAD

The hyper 8 is newer and has a different layout. Some bits are interchangeable but not many, things like diffs, knuckles etc.
The Hyper 8 was designed as a new buggy from the ground up.

RE: OFFICIAL HYPER 7 THREAD

hyper 7 __ mach 28 eng , while thrashing the H7 around our local oval as we dont have a club/track where i live bla bla bla anyway the thing is my eng doesnt go straight to idle when i back off the throtle it kind of cackles and barcks abit then goes to idle im not to worried about it just wondering if its the norm. I use 15% nitro could this be the prob Ill get some 20% nitro next time im at the shop but thats 4 hours away so ill make do with the 15% till then.[sm=spinnyeyes.gif][sm=thumbs_up.gif]

[8D]hi . Mark Pyke do you have a crack or a hole in the boot that go's to the carburator if so that would make it do that ? that sound's like what happend to me untill i replace it . just a thought . thank's . ;)

Mark Pyke 05-12-2007 07:41 AM

RE: OFFICIAL HYPER 7 THREAD

RE: OFFICIAL HYPER 7 THREAD

OkNathan WA mate my manual isnt that clear but is the low end needle at the end of the boot off the carb at the throttle linkage end if so and the standard settings are flush with the ball collar then the setting was a full turn out, im back to work tomorrow so wont get to test it for a few days:eek: fingrs crossed

RE: OFFICIAL HYPER 7 THREAD

I have a Hyper 7 PBS with the Mach.28 and need a new silicone coupler between the J header and the pipe. Anyone know where to get this part or what the part number is? It was not shown in the manual.

Thanks
