they spring back slow. the shock oil is stock. by soft i meant that they arnt very stiff. like u push the car down an dit comes up maybe halfway?

Is it level when it comes up? By have way do you mean u can lift the car up without the tires coming off the ground at first? If so this is good. Its called uptravel and you will need some in the rough stuff. It should not shoot back up like a rocket. The diff oil slows the spring action.

its pretty level. the back end my just be a little higher, but barly noticable. i dont know what shock weight oil it has in it. it just is stock from when i bought it days ago. =p. so they shuoldnt be to springy, just kinda smooth like?

if you are going to bash 40 rear 50 front

and race 25 rear and 30 front......shock oil im talking..

just leave what you have in there .....if you are just bashing roll those spring collars as far as you want for more clearance

if you are racing you want your ride height to be arms level with the ground

I forgot to mention shock color/rate. Each spring color for each buggy has a rating like hard, medium, soft. Do you know what they are?
They should be springy and smooth yes, but not to springy. They oil weight you use will depend on track conditions. If you bashing then stock is fine.
