That looks great. As a hobbiest job, I'd have to give it at least a 9. Less as a pro job, but still looks very good!!!

I'm going to be honest.

its a good start! I don't understand your use of the black on the blue. The "eyes" didn't appear as that to me at first. You need to work on your airbrush control, as i see some "spiders". You also need to practice your drop shadows on the peel back as well as the "depth" in the blue that it appears you are trying to achieve.

I hope my comments come across as being constructive, cause thats what they're meant to be. You show potential, just need to practice...

At this point I give you a 5 out of 10.....

Remember...practice, practice, practice, practice....

I was all ready to give you an 8, then I saw the cutouts...major bad if you spend time on such a nice paintjob but then the cutouts for the engine/aerial etc, look like they were chewed out by hamster. Kudos for the paint, shame about the cutouts...6. Promising work, nice one...

Decals? You don't put decals on a custom paint job. That's why it's a custom paint job. [&:]

i'm not going to lye, it's all in the planning.. i'm no pro, so i'm not going to say what i did, it might be wrong and crazy . all i can tell you is plan it out and then paint it in reverse steps.. thats the best i can do..

I gotta give you credit man, if that truly is only your second paint job I gotta give you kudos. As a custom airbrush job though it probably rates only a 5. The cutouts need some work too. I find dremels are a wonderful tool when cutting holes in lexan. They are much better than lexan scissors.

I think its not bad though for a begginers effort. Like I keep repeating on this forum Its a hobby and the 'doing' is just as enjoyable as the racing/bashing in my opinion. I'm looking forward to doing my crowd pleazer 2.
