Can anyone name this buggy?
I picked ths buggy up over the weekend and I can't figure out what kind it is and my LHS s not too helpful. It needs a few parts and I'm trying to locate them or find out what other cars' parts might fit. It says Mugen on the bottom and it is 4WD and has a Rex 350 engine.

RE: Can anyone name this buggy?
lmao. This has been posted by another user in the on road nitro forum!! I have no idea what it is, sorry, it's defintely a 4wd off roader though...any idea of scale? 1/10th? 1/8th?
EDIT: Post it in Stadium trucks forum too, but be prepared for some ribbing, there's a lot of young 'uns in there... |
RE: Can anyone name this buggy?
I'm pretty sure it's 1/8th scale. I've been out of the hobby for a while and I pced this up for fun and because the T-maxx I got is way to fast for me to relearn how to drive with.

RE: Can anyone name this buggy?
Yes, after studying the pics closer, I agree, it's definitely 1/8th, the wheel hexes give it away and the relative size of the holes for the servos.

OMG a Mugen MBX2, LOL not seen one of those since the early 90's. Good luck with finding spares, they were hard to get at the time and now I'd say impossible.

RE: Can anyone name this buggy?
Is it close to any other model? I need a front dogbone, spur gear and a drivecup for the center shaft. I figure a dogbone that is close won't be too hard to find.
