What pipe?

Hi,
I was wondering what the best low-mid pipe would be for the axial .28 spec 1s engine would be? I am looking at the jammin jp-3, would it be a good one?

Thanks for any help

RE: What pipe?

Yeah it should be pretty good. check out the JP-1 too for low-mid.

RE: What pipe?

yeh the JP-3 is more top end.

JP-1 low end
JP-2 low-mid-little top end
JP-3 mid- alot of top end

RE: What pipe?

Alright thanks, I think i might go with the jp2 because i think it would be best with our track we run on. If there are any better pipes than the jp2 let me know.

RE: What pipe?

Think you better do some checking first as the JP 2 is for middle to top end.

RE: What pipe?

Just wondering have you run the JP 3? The reason I ask is many I talk to do not like it. Wish I had the money to get all 3!

RE: What pipe?

Do you race and if so what track?

RE: What pipe?

JP-1 low end
JP-2 low-mid-little top end
JP-3 mid- alot of top end
Ok I was a little off.

The JP-1 gives all bottom and takes a LITTLE off the top the JP-2 gives a little bottom and good top. and the JP-3 gives veary little low-mid and alot of top.
The JP-3 was made to be an all aroud pipe, but I heard from a guy that has ran all three said that above^^^ That the JP-2 is about the all around pipe. I have also heard that the JP-2 has almost natice I said ALMOST as much bottom as the JP-1 just with more mid-top, and the JP-3 has more top than the JP-2.

RE: What pipe?

Has to do what track, engine and the driver. Most tracks I run are very technical and most run the JP-1.

RE: What pipe?

I have the JP-3 and my Dad has the JP-2. all I need is the JP-1 and I'll have all three:D

RE: What pipe?

Alright thanks for the help, are there any other low to mid pipes that are better than the jp1? are the vantage racing carbon fiber pipes better? are there any other pipes that are good?

RE: What pipe?

RB 053 pipes are pretty good on low end. Don't know if they're better than the JP-1 but you're in the same territory (OFNA/Hong nor do a clone too)

RE: What pipe?

alright ill check that one out too, do you think it would work well with the axial .28 spec 1s engine?

Thanks

jonnymac 04-30-2007 03:43 PM

RE: What pipe?

I'm afraid I have no experience with axial engines. It has worked well on the engines I have tried it on though. I don't see why not, I just can't guarantee it.

RE: What pipe?

Would this be just as good as the RB 053 pipe? and do you think it would be better than the jp1?

Thanks for the help

RE: What pipe?

jelly bean 04-30-2007 05:13 PM

RE: What pipe?

Thanks for all the help and if you know of any other pipes that are better let me know.

RE: What pipe?

Well i'm in the UK so i can't help you there. I got mine off ebay though. I got an 086 top end pipe too and can't fault either. I don't know its better than the JP-1. They seem very similar to me. See which one you get cheapest :D

jelly bean 04-30-2007 05:19 PM

RE: What pipe?

alright, i think i can get the 053 cheaper so ill probably get that. do you know of any good fuel? what do you run and does it allow your engine to last a long time?

thanks

would this pipe be any better than the 053? would it still be good in the low-mid but a little better in the topend range too?

Thanks for any help

jelly bean 04-30-2007 05:28 PM

RE: What pipe?

^oh nevermind about that pipe^ because it doesnt come with a manifold and thats what i really need to replace on my buggy, and i dont wanna spend that much because then i wouldnt be able to get new tires and everything but what fuel is the best in your opinion

thanks for the help
