High Idle..?

Just cleaned my buggy and took it out for a run when I noticed as the motor (Force .26 ) came up to temp it started to idle high and seemed to be leaning -out...? I think I may have a leak ? I checked all my fuel line`s and tank, exhaust gasket and all seem good ! What the heck could be sucking air..? Also all the engine screw`s are tight and head bolt`s the carb is sealed ! This SUCK`S... Any suggestion`s ? And after a half a tank of fuel my temp was 290.

I would say check the needle valve orings.thats the last place everone looks.check around the carb venturi.make sure that gaket is good. But first check the glow pug gasket. Also one more thing.Take a spray bottle with water, get the engine to idle the best you can(engines dont like to idle with an air leak.)and spray around head carb(but not in the vent.) back plate etc.The engine will stall almost imediate. That should show you your leak.

Mate seems to me it just needs tuning. Dont expect an engine to be in tune from day to day. Every time you use the engine you'll need to tune it. You cant just leave the needles untouched.
