Learning to Race and setup

Guys, where can I find theoretical information about driving technics? I want to know how to drive correctly in theory and then I will train on in.
Secondly, where do I find info on setting the car up the correct way. What each parameter changes and how to find the correct setting.
Maybe some webstes on the info or a link to an book in Amazon...
BTW, I have the Hyper7 PCR with NR P5 engine.
Thanks
Evgeny

this is a preatty good thing you should read. It's and awesome guide to get started, but it isnt written specifically for buggies, so use your judgemtn and commen sence to tell if what its talking about applies to you. Obviosuly if hes talking about speed controllers it doesnt pertain to you.[link=http://home.scarlet.be/~be067749/58/]http://home.scarlet.be/~be067749/58/[/link]

Here is a great set-up guide that I have found useful. It got if from another thread somewhere here on RCU. It is written somewhat generically and much of it can be used for off-road.

Prob saw it from one of my posts, I've been pushing that site for years. It's great. Its more geared to on-road but 90% applies to all things RC.

OK, slow is fast, that's all you need to know. Go slow, build confidence, and you'll get faster and faster. Watch the line others take around the track, make mental notes of when they slow down and when they accelerate. When racing it's all about the number of COMPLETED laps, go hard in qualifying, but take it easy in the race, if you finish the race, you will never come last, someone ALWAYS breaks something. Concentrate on not being marshalled and building consistency.
