RE: take it easy or full throttle
If its a new engine then you need to run it in, if its been used then go for your life.

RE: take it easy or full throttle
its a Carson specter ( German specs cuz i am in Germany ) don't know the engine size but it says 3.5 on the side. i took it to my friends place and we notice that the lines were pinched so i fixed that along with a total motor cleaning than my glow igniter went out so i charged that. i think that's it for now lol. How can you tell if you glow plug goes bad? how long should a new glow plug last? how can you tell if it is bad?

ORIGINAL: beenbreto its a Carson specter ( German specs cuz i am in Germany ) don't know the engine size but it says 3.5 on the side. i took it to my friends place and we notice that the lines were pinched so i fixed that along with a total motor cleaning than my glow igniter went out so i charged that. i think that's it for now lol. How can you tell if you glow plug goes bad? how long should a new glow plug last? how can you tell if it is bad? Glow plugs are like light bulbs, they can last 3 months or 3 minutes. Go to a shop with the car, usually one with a track will have more experienced guys on hand (thats not saying any others are bad but just a fact) and ask them what you should do. But for the most part if you want to go at it alone you should grab a few different heat ranges and see what works best. For some tuning info, read this top to bottom 3 or 4 times and print it out if you arent familiar with tuning an engine, which is a process that usually needs to be done every day you take it out or even sometimes adjusted a few times through the course of a day. I think you may have to join but its worth it, theres a wealth of info on that site. http://lstforums.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=6289 |
