Oh man I can't wait to see the replys. My vote's the OS .30VG. I'm more than sure other people on here will recommend a .21 as you don't need power to move the Hyper 8.

STS engines are a great engines, and their under $200 www.projectzen.net www.stsmicroengines.com
Novarossi, Max power, picco, JPX, Werks, and ninja, all make good engines in the $200-$400 range

Mach .21

Very cheap and they are fast, only a fraction slower than a Vspec but half the price.
If mine dies I will buy another.

The most powerful cheap engine that I have seen running so far is the Hot Mod Axe Rossi Mamba. It sells for $250 on amain. The Normal mamba is , I believe, the most powerful and reliable engine that u can get for $200.

if you are looking for alot of power a Picco P7 EVO2 is one of the strongest .21's your going to find... also easy to tune with a super smooth powerband.

look dude, coming in here and asking that question is really pointless. Everyone here owns something different and like something different. You cant even ask which ones are junk cuz everyone has a different answer. I suggest looking within our price range, selecting a few that look good to you and are a name brand, then googling or searching here to see if there are any major reliability problems with them. People will come on here and push what they own, dog what they dont and it's just hard to get an unbiased opinion.

I would go with an sts because their fast and cheap. Ive had mine for a little while now and I never had a problem with it. Plus stsmicroengines.com has pretty much every part for them and the parts are really cheap.

Go.21 good engine, you can go better and get a picco but my engine works wonders for me.
