haha, i havent done jumps as big as 18 feet but the jumps i do are big enough to put huge scratches in the chassis lol!

My pipe does the same thing. I've tried tightening the zip ties, but that dosn't really help much.

LOL you should see my undercarrage... I'ts got huge gashes ;) I've also had to replace a couple of screws that are unde there that have been damaged.

I just got my new front shock tower installed (7075) and new shocks/springs (blue). The shock tower was replaced because the stocker wasnt really holding up to being upside-down on asphalt :( The new springs (and shock rebuild with 35k weight) are because the back end tends to push off hard (flipping the car over) on jumps, regardless of shock clip settings... wanna see picks?

ok u guys christmas is comin and hello hop ups:)alright i gots a choice of well i want a choice of:Dlol some 7075 aluminum which is a butt load of expensive and some carbin fiber which shall i get.cause al dat 7075 and carbin fib. together cost $238.93 and i no 4 a fact i wont get it all unless i could get some friendly donations from u guys[&:]????? hahahaha lmao jk well not jk if u wana lol. so witch should i get??????

You don't need to go crazy with the 7075 or Carbon Fiber. I'd say only upgrade the parts that are the weakest/cheapest/easiest to break (turnbuckles/steering or suspension linkage, shock towers, servo-plate, shocks, springs). The rest is just unnecessary fluff...

Whoa dude nice scrapes... lol. Mine is a little worst off than yours... and the whole exhaust pipe falling off is pissing me off!!! think i'm just gonna get a JP-2 pipe and be done with it, maybe a JP-3.

It looks like you got the front and rear 7075 shock towers... good stuff. i was gonna get em too but i just took of the paint and polished off the stock ones. i'll post pics later of all the other aluminun parts i just polished.

Got a clear XT2 body that i hope to paint real soon too

Nice Pics! I agree with you i would only upgrade the weakest, cheapest etc instead of getting something expensive for it and the next day it blows to pieces off a jump!

Have you tried tightening the front pipe connecting rod screw so it dosn't move so easily? Also, you may want to try to tighten or replace the zip-ties that connect the exhaust pipe to the header pipe.

tried all of the above and nada! So i'm gonna get a new exhaust coupler today and see how that works out, but i still want a JP2 pipe!

They're pretty much the stock XT2 shocks, but with a couple upgrades: Hop-up XTM springs (blue) for the XT2 (item # 149370-rear $7 and 149354-front $7). I rebuilt all 4 shocks (I had to replace the front shock top caps because of damage during a crash) and redid them with 35k weight shock oil.

HAHA Got my XT2 back from the hobby shop today from gettin a Hitec servo put in for the steering, gave it a tune and now the front tyres are almost BALD[X(]. O well What would the best tyres be for on and off road bashing, any one know???

Yeah, if you want to spend $40 or more for rubber alone....

If you're going to be using it on and off road, get a tire with a medium rubber compound (not soft) so it will last longer...

I know you're in Australia, but this ebay store (I get my tires from them) is really REALLY REALLY low priced, even with shipping costs to Australia ($12.99 extra)

OMG[>:] Stock servos are absolutely CRAP, both of my stocks have failed! I got my old steering in my throttle place, Just failed, I was going like 20kmh and i tried to stop but it didnt so i had to kick the hell outta the rear tyres for it to stop so now i have to get another bloody servo, does anyone know a servo that will not fail and is cheap.

hmm, mine came with the hitec radio and cirrus servos... I don't like the radio so i'm gonna put it my electric truck and buy a 2.4 ghz; but the cirrus servos are awesome and apparently not too expensive... i'll post the model numbers later if you want 'em

Well, I'm pretty damn happy with mine, but then again, it's my first buggy. I love the fact that it's 4wd, has a huge (2.7hp) motor which is faster than my (or my friend's buggy/trucks).

It's 200$ cheaper than other comperable buggies.

Mine's held up pretty well. have broken a couple suspension parts, but that's totally my fault for bashing around on asphalt and hitting a rock XD
