Glad your happy with it! I think kyosho is a really good quality brand... the tires look a lil worn tho, I am guessing from driving on the road?

RE: It Is Here!!!

lol its looks like that in the picture but its not worn out YET but it is a good excuse to get proline tires :) yeah i think kyosho is a great brand but some people on the forums say their not

Good to hear something positive about a kyosho rtr. I've got the same in the truggy and love it. I think alot of people forget how many world championships kyosho have won. without doubt they need upgrades to race competitively, but name a rtr (even Losi 8ight) that doesn't. good luck with it, and remember most of all have fun.

RE: It Is Here!!!

i agree with mtbkym01 that kyosho inferno has won a lot of championships and no one should say it's not good because it has proved it self 7 times already... don't let others bad opinions affect you!! it's a great car and doesn't break easily..

Kyosho is a awesome brand an nobody can deny that. The top of the line race kits are fantastic, but the rtr's leave a lot to be desired, so when taling about kyosho winning understand that your talking about the 777sp2 wc not the rtr version. Not knocking your car dude its probably perfect for what u want and need

hope you have fun with your new car!

Actually dont worry about tyres yet, get saving and invest in a couple of decent servos, then your ride wont be sat there with its now boots on and nowhere to go. The stock servos are pure crap in those things.

Kyosho has always had good stuff. The only real regreat i her from people is that support sucks. Parts are expensive, and getting them is difficult.

RE: It Is Here!!!

Allen, I have the same buggy. Got it in April as a wedding gift. What a gal. Anyway, I have over 2 gallons through mine. The dirve line is bullet proof. Very strong /hardened components. I had 2 problems with it. One, the steering servo stripped. Its been replaced with a JR servo. Second, it started running badly one day. I did everything, but it wouldnt idle, and ran lean. I read on here a few weeks ago about a guy who had the same problem. He had an air leak where the carburetor goes in to the block. I took the carb out, coated the neck with a little high temperature RTV, and the problem went away. I do have a good story for you and anyone who doubts the seriousness of an RTR. My buggy is stock except for a crowd pleaser body and proline hole shot tires/velocity rims. Thats it. I qualified 3rd in a field of 22 buggys two weeks ago. I became friends with my LHS owner. He races with me. We were in the same heat that day. He is running a LOSI 8 that cost him about $1200 bucks. Purchase price and upgrades. I lapped him twice. (This is NOT a shot at the LOSI guys) He came up to me after the heat and said, "You schooled me. What makes this even worse is my buugy costs about 4 times yours". Maybe he had a bad day? Maybe I had an exceptional day? But bottom line, I qualified 3rd that day. This buggy is for real, and I am sooooooooooooo glad I have it. So Allen, watch out for that steering servo not lasting. Hopefully it will? If yours starts running erractically, get some high temperature RTV and coat the carburetor neck. Other than that, mine has run flawlessly. 2+ gallons through it so far. As far as parts, my LHS carries a few. I have purchased many spare parts (just in case) form Amainhobbies.com. They carry every part. You can build one from scratch. Decent prices too. I do not see these parts costing anymore than the rest. If you need parts, click on the 7.5 buggy pisture. Same thing as ours, just has more upgrades. Ours is a trimmed down version of that model. A Main had good prices. Good luck with it!!

RE: It Is Here!!!

wow jerzferno that sounds great i think your like the 2nd or third person on this forum that gave me a positive feedback how durable is the car man i was at the park and i turned real sharp and the car did like 4 flips sideways and nothing broke i was real happy cause i spent alot of money on the car and the starterbox the 12v battery , but anyways see 46u jerzferno got 2 gallons of gas threw it and no problems that are major so that makes it a great buggy and he beat a LOSI that some guy spent 3 times the money when we paid about 400 wow did i make a great choice on this car

Hey allen, thats a great buggy, kyosho makes a great product, i have a few of them, their engines are great too, dont listen to what anyone says, just enjoy your buggy, you will have many gallons of fun with it. Kyosho is a great product.

RE: It Is Here!!!

I agree. If you are happy with your buggy it does not matter what anyone else has to say. I have been running a Mayhem for 2 1/2 years. It also was a RTR. I have upgraded it over the years and stay pretty consistant with it. I figured that learning to drive and get consitantly better before I upgrade to a new buggy. I just recently picked up a Jammin FTE. Which I have not even had a chance to drive on the track yet. But I tell ya I got to drive one of the other guys at the tracks Jammin and Wow I could really see a difference in handleing ability. So bottom line is if this buggy works for you that is all that matters. JUST HAVE FUN.
