Do a search for diff oils and you'll find loads of info. Basically fill to at least 80%. (Personally I fill to 100% and have never had a problem but some people will advise against this). Shock and diff oil is the same stuff but diff oil in general is a higher viscosity. You can also mix oils. I,E 50mls of 200wt and 50mls of 400wt will make 100mls of 300wt.

What?
Diff oils are in general HIGHER viscosity.

Hey dude, he wrote higher already [&:]

However, yes the dif oils are "harder" than the shocks oils. Try something very thick for the center, something very thin in the rear and something inbeetween in the front

NO you will not have the same outcome diff oil is much thicker compared to shock oil. If you ran shock oil in your diffs it would have no benifical effect on the diffs other than a lubrication, you may as well just use grease it would at least be better than shock oil in the diffs. Next time you go to your LHS pick up a bottle of diff oil and shock oil and see how much thicker the diff oil is, the shock oil will be closer to water (not realy but its the best explanation I can give) the diff oil will be closer to thick honey. THe only similarity in the 2 types of oil's are they are both a silicone based oil. I think its silicone anyway.

It is silicone and it actually a pretty lousy lubricant too.

What's wrong with that? Diff oils are in general higher viscosity than shock oils.

Dif oils are in general higher viscosity, end of the story. Don't continue this ;) Also, a question guys, i know that kyosho has dif oils that have range up to 500,000. The other what maximum numbers have?

DaSmack: You better read it again. Diff oil IS generally HIGHER viscosity.

Dif oils are much more "harder" than the shock oils. Is that more clear? :D Oh man, i'm starting to confuse. [&:]:D
