DIFF OIL KNOWLEDGE
I was just wondering whether someone could help me, I need to know how much to fill my diff with oil ? will it seal ok basically some general articles on diff oils and how to do it? also is shock oil and diff oil the same thing can it be applied in both cases

Do a search for diff oils and you'll find loads of info. Basically fill to at least 80%. (Personally I fill to 100% and have never had a problem but some people will advise against this). Shock and diff oil is the same stuff but diff oil in general is a higher viscosity. You can also mix oils. I,E 50mls of 200wt and 50mls of 400wt will make 100mls of 300wt.

thats cool thanks basically i purchased shock oil so it will be ok? will i have the same out come?

However, yes the dif oils are "harder" than the shocks oils. Try something very thick for the center, something very thin in the rear and something inbeetween in the front |

It is silicone and it actually a pretty lousy lubricant too.

Dif oils are in general higher viscosity, end of the story. Don't continue this ;) Also, a question guys, i know that kyosho has dif oils that have range up to 500,000. The other what maximum numbers have?

Dif oils are much more "harder" than the shock oils. Is that more clear? :D Oh man, i'm starting to confuse. [&:]:D
