Adding a buggy

Hey guys I'm wanting to buy a buggy to add to my collection of rc's...lol I'm not a racer just a basher, I do go to the local track and run on it when there are no races. I'm looking for a buggy that is ready to run these are the ones I have narrowed it down too. Let me know which one I should get or list a different one I do not have on my list if it's under $350. Thanks

RE: Adding a buggy

I voted for the Hyper 7 cause I'm puttin together a 8.5, and wow is it a nice setup so if the 7 is almost as nice it should be a good buggy for bashing. One other buggy to look at though would be the Turmoil Pro with .21 engine and pipe. It was my first buggy and I'll be keeping it for bashing and a little racing and it is another nice buggy and I thnk A Main has lowered the price on them. Yep they have link below. If you have to buy your servos your price would be over your 350 limit but it still a good deal.

The Hyper 7 will hold up a WHOLE lot better then the CEN as I know from the fact my race partner use to be sponsored by CEN. The big time pro’s that run CEN are highly modified.

Hmmm, looking like a one horse race

You will find out that just about all hard core buggy people will recommend the Hyper 7 over anything else you listed. :D The poll backs this up. ;)

lol have it ever occur to you that your race partner cant drive? Losi , AE, and others sometimes break in races too, that doesn mean car sucks. Half of the buggies in a main usually doesnt finish race. i am a ****ty driver and matrix is very reliable for me

when can you start accepting the fact that CEN Matrix is doing better and better. Jeremy Kortz's haobao is highly modify, Billy easton's car is highly modify with others. Matrix cant be modified because there is no aftermarket support yet, what do they suppose to modify it with when nothing goes on ( kinda sucks sometimes)

You are only making the job of promoting the hyper much easier for us :D
This is a MAJOR factor to consider when buying a buggy.

sure, thats a fact... not goign to argue with that. However, it is also a fact that hyper will need those "upgrades" in order to stay in one piece and compete against the matrix
( didnt need upgrade).

So yes, i agree with you. You can either Spend money to buy Hyper upgrdes so your buggy can stay in one piece and be competitive OR buy the right car to start and get it done once for all.. lol

Want to try and back that statement up? You are biased toward what you own. I had a Hyper 7 and I jumped it 30 ft plus HIGH not length, probably 75ft length and flatlanded a few times from that height, the only thing I broke on the Hyper 7 TQ RTR was the pullstart (let's face it, they are unreliable compared to starter boxes, which I soon purchased), the rear diff (because it was my first car and I was landing with the throttle on) and the steering servo (MOST rtr servo's suck).

Out of that list I voted H7. The matrix is a good buggy, too. Don't get me wrong. Just don't let this fool, fool YOU into believing for a second that the hyper 7 isn't durable. To be honest, the hyper 7 along with other buggies and truggies are the most durable vehicles out IMO. A monster truck isn't as durable and I know because I have had a savage and a revo, which both copped the same hiding as the hyper 7 and they both held up very well, just not as well as a buggy/truggy. The design of *uggies is simply tough.

I agree 46u, Crazymento comes into all the forums, Buggy, Truggy and MT and says CEN is best. I'm not dishin CEN, but come on, enough already
