on-road tires
I am looking for some on-road tires to get for my 1/8 exceed razor, so when I drive it on-road I don't go through tires so fast. looking for rubber tires or thicker, longer lasting foams. any suggestions on specific tires, or a site to get them from?
I will probably keep 2 sets of wheels, one for on road and one for off nate |
RE: on-road tires
Im going to use the slicks from there when my local hobbytown starts having their parking lot races. They should last about forever, which is the other reason Id be buying them. They cant be any worse traction-wise than my bald stock Storm tires, hah.
*edit* Ah.. crap... I had to run and forgot to paste the link, lol. THESE are the slicks I was talking about. Not bad for $24 a set, compared to $60+ for essentially the equivalent from a name-brand. Especially considering it is just so you can bash around on the street withou eating your dirt tires. If you were trying to seriously race, I wouldnt recommend these, but otherwise I think they should be fine. http://cgi.ebay.com/NIB-On-Road-Slic...742.m153.l1262 |

try these, they are firm, and actually work good off road if you get the urge, and last very long, even peeling out alot like I do in my ravager. |
