It should spin on the bearings when it sits in the center mount.

Are you serious??? Maybe you should go back to playing with hotwheels!!!:D:D
What do think the bearings are for??

when you rotate your spur gear it should turn along with the diff and your wheels should turn. While you have the car on a work stand. You should be able to put your vehicle down and push it and it should roll pretty freely foward and backward.

It was for effect! Anyway I don't wanna be mean, but some of the questions that you come across on here are rediculous.
Learning your vehicles doesn't involve sitting in front of the computer asking people about them.
Look at the damn thing, take it apart, learn the parts, how it works.

Yea I am , I know my vehicles inside out! Every part, every screw. ;)

I agree in the fact that you should strip your vehicle down and reassemble it to learn the ins and outs of your model or models. Don't want to scare anybody away from the forum though, this a great tool for everybody. My wife always calls me a smart *****, I tell her I would rather be a smart ***** than a dumb*****.:D.

Take it easy guys!
If you don't like the question your not compelled to answer.
Not everybody has the mechanical confidence you have Losiben. If you got round all your noob problems by yourself then good for you! perhpas he just wants reassurance all is fine before he fires it up.
