Hyper 7 pro engine help

Hi Guys,

My friend has just purchased a Hyper 7 Pro second hand and I need to know what these parts are on the engine.

Looks like it has been converted to a starter box and we didnt know. Can it go back to a normal pull start? Whats the Purple alloy for where the pullstart used to live?

Also, whats the fuel pipe doing that runs off from the back of the engine to the side of the block? Cant work that out at all?

Thanks for any help in advance.

It is a boost chamber. It brings air and fuel back around to the front of the engine. It can be removed and replace with a blankplate, rotostart plate, pullstart. Where the nipple is under the carb is replaced with a freeze plug/screw.

Thankyou so much for your quick reply.

I would have never figured that one out as I am nOOb 'ish' to the sport. Think a starter box is in order!

Suposedly better fuel consumption and a little more power. I think most engines now do it internally.
