servo or radio problem
I just bought a Jammin X1 RTR
the steering servo gears stripped out as it was equiped with a cheap plastic gears unit so I picked up a digital HITEC metal gear servo for my steering and a standard analog metal gear HITEC servo for the throttle. After getting them both installed the srevos were twitching and acting erratic. So I removed the throttle and put back the origional servo , everything seemed ok until I drove it and the steering wont hold the natural neutral that I installed the servo at as well intermittantly after about a minute of driving it wont steer left but works fine right then it might not steer right but left will work ?? Do the cheap radio recievers have trouble suppling the current for these upgraded servos? Do they cause interefeance with the AM 2 channel radio ?? |
RE: servo or radio problem
Are you properly centering your horn on the servo?

RE: servo or radio problem
Does the horn have correct number of splines? I know thats not the reason for the erratic behavior, but it might be slipping.

RE: servo or radio problem
well I plug in the servo turn on the reciever and radio , turn the whell a couple of times and where it stops is where I have been putting my steering horn on with the wheels straight
