Diff problem?
My clutch is engaging fine the center diff is turning fine. Dogbones goint to front and rear are turning fine. Rear wheels barely rotate front wheel don't rotate at all. This is all off the ground. What are my possible problems? Just changed diff oi. Did the front no probs, center no probs ran her no probs. Did the rear a day later ran her in the morning ran with no problems. Went to run her in the evening I got nothing. even if I rotate the center diff with my fingers no front movement rear barely moves.

RE: Diff problem?
Maybe the gears in the diffs not engaging as they should, or the gears stripped in worst situation. Good luck

RE: Diff problem?
Heres how I test for stripped gears that slip. Grab both the front tires with both hands and turn the tires forward and backwards real quick in the same direction. Keep doing it and see if the gears slip and if they make a grinding noise. Make sure the front of the buggy is off the ground. Now do the same thing with the back tires.

RE: Diff problem?
I'd check to see if you have it shimmed correctly.

RE: Diff problem?
IloveMYxt2... I tried this on my Hyper the other day because I wasn't sure if my Diffs were slipping to. should the rear wheels move also when you turn the two front ones in the same direction. I lifted the front end of my buggy up and turned the front wheels forward and the back ones didnt move with it...when i do that on my EB4 S2 they move with the front ones[&:]

RE: Diff problem?
Check the set screws in the out drive cups where your center dogbones connect to your diffs. They can sometimes come out, which means they are turning freely but no power is being transfered to your rear and front diffs.

The blue loctite doesnt do its job right. |
