Ishima racing?
Saw this site.
http://www.ishimaracing.com/sneakrr.asp Car looks pretty innovative. Can some tell me about the company or is this just a small company over in Sweden. good car? BAd car? don't know about the car? |
RE: Ishima racing?
Its a European car, The designer also had major input on the Piktor Rush 2.

RE: Ishima racing?
Supposed to be a good car. Have never seen one in person and the shocks look cool. I have read on other forums about it.
|
RE: Ishima racing?
Seems like a very nice buggy. I wonder how it handles with the shocks laid down that much? Im sure it would be great in the turns tho.

RE: Ishima racing?
That buggy raced at this years Euros in Crete and did pretty well too.
Correct me if Im wrong but I believe it finished in about twenty something position. Very light and has very smooth action. Nick |
RE: Ishima racing?
Its not a Eropean car but based out of Hong Kong.
The car is based off of the Caster/Protech Yada buggy with shock layout designed by the guy who designed the Piktor Rush. A conversion can be done on the Mugen and Caster buggies to make it like this by modifying truggy shock towers and making the lower shock mount. All else is essentially the same. My brushless Caster ZX-1R buggy i am building has this mod done and i hope to run it soon when i get my motor. |
RE: Ishima racing?
I was going to say it looked just like the Caster except for the shock layout and shock mount on the lower arm.

RE: Ishima racing?
I have tested and fiddled with one and I was very impressed with its handling and build quality, unfortunately it was the RTR-version i drove but considering the low price it seems like a great car.
I am thinking about getting a race roller as a second car. |
RE: Ishima racing?
Vic, what's the price on the RTR and the race roller versions?
|
RE: Ishima racing?
According to the last email I recieved from the Swedish reseller the RTR version, RAVE M1.0S cost 4500 SEK and the Roller, RAVE M1.0RR cost 4200 SEK
Translated into USD with todays rates its. 720 USD for the RTR and 670 USD for the RR Compare this with the price of the 808 here in Sweden wich is 6000 SEK and 960 USD [&:] |
